Mt. LeConte

This varied hike starts at Newfound Gap on the Appalachian Trail and then takes The Boulevard Trail, which offers outstanding views, around the back of Mt. LeConte. The lodge area has sunrise and sunset views; both are worth a visit even at midday. Hiking down on Alum Cave Trail you’ll look into Huggins Hell, pass Alum Cave Bluffs, and end on a pleasant river walk.
