The highlight of this gentle hike is the excellent view from the tower on top of Flat Top Mountain. Follow the signs to Flat Top Tower. On the way, a wide variety of wildflowers line the trail, an old carriage road which takes you deep in the woods and through open pasture land, giving the area the feel of pastoral Europe. You’ll also take a short detour to the Cone cemetery.
